Summary of planned provision at Shepperton - £10,210
Specialist OT equipment to develop and support physical and sensory development needs - £1,000
Funds will enable the purchase of specialist equipment to promote increased access and development of skills for pupils who need additional support with their sensory processing to enable them to access physical activity. This fund will be used to support and work alongside the use of funds for a specialist OT as detailed below.
Specialist OT for training and advice, and specialist sensory and physical equipment - £2,400
Funding allows us to employ a specialist OT who is highly skilled in supporting and training staff in helping children with their sensory needs and developing skills to access physical activity. She will support staff and provide training to help challenge and expand the range of physical skills pupils can excel in. During regular visits over all three term, the OT will also provide ideas of equipment that can support and challenge children’s physical and sensory development, which some of this will also be able to be purchased through this budget.
Rebound training courses and rebound equipment - £870
Funding will allow 1 new member of teaching staff to be trained, and another 2 staff to have the required refresher training to deliver rebound therapy. This training means that staff keep their skills and continue to be qualified to enable them to deliver rebound sessions. This fund will also enable essential equipment such as mats beanbags to be purchased to support these sessions to maximise children’s access and engagement.
Motomed - £2,471
Funds will be used to go towards the purchase of a Motomed. This is a specialist piece of physio and rehabilitation equipment. It will provide great opportunities to increase physical activity, among pupils who find it difficult to access more traditional forms bikes. This equipment provides benefits such as improving circulation, range of movement, strength gross motor control and stepping pattern. It is portable and able to be used for pupils across the school.
This equipment is robust and will benefit children currently, but also children in years to come.
New sports experience funding - £1,500
Funds will be used to support all pupils in the school to access an offsite sporting activity. Activities will include climbing and abseiling on the year 6 and year 5 residential trip. For others the activities could include ice skating, visiting a trampoline park, going swimming offsite, bowling, accessible bicycles etc. This funding will help introduce a new range of sports and physical activities to pupils in the school, and may encourage and give confidence to more pupils to take part in these sport and physical activities in the future.
Hydrotherapy training - £440
Funds will be used to allow one member of staff to attend a specialist hydrotherapy course to support pupils with complex physical and neurological needs. This fund will also allow for the purchased of a hydrotherapy training DVD which can be shared with all staff members to support knowledge and training of hydrotherapy. This DVD will also enable training of all future staff who start working at Manor Mead School, benefitting pupils and staff now and in the future.
PE equipment for use in the playground, classes and during PE lessons - £1,529
Money will be used to purchase equipment to promote and support increased physical activity during playtime, structured play and PE lessons. A wider variety of resources will be purchased to increase participation among pupils who are least engaged with physical activity due to tactile or sensory needs. Equipment will include resources that promote engagement for example by offering increased tactile, auditory, visual or auditory properties. By purchasing equipment that can be used at a variety of times we increased the opportunities for children to be physically activity and developing physical skills for longer periods of their day.
Summary of planned provision at Virginia Water - £6,990
Outside gym equipment - £6,500

It will also play a key role in supporting emotional regulation and can be fully integrated into the PE curriculum to enhance strength, coordination, and overall wellbeing.
Additional specialist PE equipment for PE lessons and the playground - £440
